Orion ist ausgezogen

Heute ist unser Orion zum zweiten Mal ausgezogen …

Es war eine besondere Suche nach einem Platz für Orion, nachdem er wieder bei uns eingezogen war.

Viele Interessenten meldeten sich bei mir, nachdem meine Anzeige das Orion einen neuen Platz sucht, so viel geteilt auf Facebook wurde.
Erst einmal möchte ich mich bedanken bei allen Teilern meiner Anzeige, sowie bei all den lieben Interessenten. Danke für euer großes Interesse…

Auf der Suche nach seinem Platz für Orion wollte ich mir Zeit lassen und genau beobachten was für Wesenszüge und Fähigkeiten in dem kleinen Mann steckten. Da ich zur Zeit zu Hause bin, war es für mich ein großer Vorteil Orion, nun liebevoll Winston genannt, genau zu beobachten.
Nach seinem Rückzug zu uns, realisierte Winston wieder sehr schnell, welche Dinge man bei Mama, den Tanten und vor allem bei Ziehmama durfte… Schnell war wieder Ordnung im Rudel und Winston erkundete mit Noemi den Garten und rund ums Haus die Wiesen und Felder. Winston fand schnell gefallen an dem Teich von Ziehpapa… Dieser ist zur Welpenzeit immer sicher eingezäunt.. und musste diesen ganz genau erkunden… schwamm da immer solch ein Zeug abends rum, welches Mama Kalea und die anderen Tanten anzog.
Nach genauer Betrachtung musste Winston erfahren, dass wenn man nicht die Belange hält, plumps ins Nasse fällt. Wer nun denkt, dass er nicht wusste wie man da herauskommt … der irrt.
Schnell wußte Winston was zu tun ist und drehte sich rum und nahm den Weg aus dem Teich… Wir mussten so lachen und von dieser Minute an, war Winston sein Gleichgewicht geschult und er angelte sich jeden Abend bis zum heutigen Auszug seine kleinen Leckerchen…
Winston machte weiterhin Erfahrung mit dem Geschehen auf der Straße vor unserem Haus … sah das Müllauto, die Post und auch andere komische Auto’s mit so einem Ding oben drauf ( Fahrrad ).
Er spazierte an der Leine wie ein Alter und genoss seine Toberunden mit Mama Kalea und Noemi.

Aus meinen Beobachtungen heraus, wußte ich, dass ich für Orion einen aktiven Platz suchen sollte, welcher seine Fähigkeiten und Neigungen weiter ausbauen sollte.
Ich wußte, dass diese Suche eine Herausforderung sein wird und wir stellten uns darauf ein, dass wird seine Zeit benötigen.
Aber wie das Leben manchmal spielt, sollte ich eines besseren belehrt werden.
Während der Welpenzeit hatte mich damals Bille aus Dänemark angeschrieben, ob noch ein Mädel aus diesem Wurf frei wäre. Ich teilte ihr mit, dass alle Mädels bereits reserviert waren. Wir kamen ins längere Gespräch und fachsimpelten viel über die Whippetzucht, da Sie auch Whippetzüchterin ist.
Wir verabredeten uns auf ein Treffen irgendwann einmal in Dänemark.
Als ich nun weiter beim sortieren der Welpenanfragen für Orion war, ging auf einmal wieder der Messenger auf und Bille schrieb mir. Sie schrieb mir von Christina, welche auf der Suche nach einem Rüden war und fragte ob Orion noch frei wäre. Ich bejahte und so nahm das Leben seinen Lauf.

Christina lebt in der Nähe von Kopenhagen/Dänemark und zu ihr gehört ihr Whippetrüde Dawin. Mit ihm gemeinsam fährt Sie zum Coursing und ist immer viel unterwegs. Wir lernten uns kennen und trotz unser sprachlichen Hürden, wurde für uns klar das wir uns kennenlernen wollten.
Und so reisten gestern Bille und Christina nebst Darwin bei uns an. Es war ein herzlicher Abend und Christina mit Darwin lernten Winston kennen. Sie gingen gemeinsam spazieren und Winston freute sich neben Darwin den Weg am Felde lang zu spazieren. Christina kam zurück und erklärte mir, dass wenn ich es auch möchte, sie gerne Winston ein neues Zuhause geben möchte.
So geschah es, dass Winston heute seine Reise nach Dänemark angetreten hat und gut nun auch schon im neuen Zuhause gelandet ist.

Today our Orion moved out for the second time…

It was a special search for a place for Orion after he moved back in with us.

Many interested people contacted me after my ad that Orion is looking for a new place was shared so much on Facebook.
First of all I would like to thank all the people who shared my ad, as well as all the dear interested people. Thanks for your great interest…

On the search for his place for Orion, I wanted to take my time and observe exactly what kind of traits and skills were in the little man. Since I am at home at the moment, it was a great advantage for me to observe Orion, now affectionately called Winston, very closely.
After his retreat to us, Winston realized again very quickly what things one was allowed to do with Mama, the aunts and especially with Ziehmama… Soon there was order again in the pack and Winston explored the garden with Noemi and around the house the meadows and fields. Winston quickly found favour with the pond of Ziehmama… This pond is always safely fenced in when he was a puppy… and had to explore it very carefully… there was always such stuff floating around in the evening, which attracted Mama Kalea and the other aunts.
After a closer look Winston had to learn that if you don’t keep the interests, he will fall into the wet. Who thinks now that he did not know how to get out of it … is wrong.
Winston quickly knew what to do and turned around and took the way out of the pond… We had to laugh so hard and from that minute on, Winston was trained to balance himself and he fished his little treats every night until today…
Winston continued to experience what happened on the street outside our house… saw the garbage truck, the post office and also other strange cars with such a thing on top ( bicycle ).
He walked on a leash like an old man and enjoyed his top rounds with Mama Kalea and Noemi… From my observations, I knew that I should look for an active place for Orion to develop his skills and inclinations.
I knew that this search would be a challenge and we prepared ourselves for it to take time.
But as life sometimes plays out, I was to be taught better.
During the puppyhood Bille from Denmark had written to me at that time, if there was still a girl from this litter available. I told her that all girls were already reserved. We got into a longer conversation and talked a lot about the Whippet breeding, because she is also a Whippet breeder.
We arranged to meet sometime in Denmark.
When I was sorting the puppy requests for Orion, the messenger suddenly opened and Bille wrote me. She wrote me from Christina, who was looking for a male and asked if Orion was still available. I affirmed and so life took its course.

Christina lives near Copenhagen/Denmark and to her belongs her whippet male Dawin. Together with him she goes coursing and is always on the road a lot. We got to know each other and despite our language barriers, it became clear to us that we wanted to get to know each other.
And so yesterday Bille and Christina and Darwin arrived with us. It was a warm evening and Christina and Darwin met Winston. They went for a walk together and Winston was happy to walk next to Darwin along the path in the field. Christina came back and explained to me that even if I want to, she would like to give Winston a new home.
So it happened that Winston started his trip to Denmark today and has already landed in his new home.
We wish you dear Christina and your Winston all the best…have a lot of fun together and you dear Bille…thank you very much that we were allowed to get to know Christina and Darwin through you!
